Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

1. About this policy

DialHand helps service businesses track customer commitments, appointments, follow-ups, and customer communications. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit our website, use the service, or receive transactional customer messages sent through DialHand.

When a service business uses DialHand to communicate with you, it supplies and manages customer information for its own services. Contact that business about its services and privacy practices, or contact DialHand using the details below for questions about our handling of information.

2. Information we handle

We handle account and contact information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, business details, and account settings; customer records such as service requests, appointments, commitments, and follow-up notes; and communications such as message content, delivery status, replies, and call details. Where enabled, call features may also process recordings, transcripts, or automated intake summaries.

We also handle SMS opt-in records, consent status, opt-out requests, and related timestamps, along with technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, authentication cookies, and service logs needed to operate and protect the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain DialHand, authenticate accounts, manage customer commitments and appointments, deliver transactional messages, record delivery and consent status, provide support, troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Customer phone numbers and email addresses support service-related communications, including appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, and updates about service requests or commitments.

4. SMS consent and mobile information

DialHand supports transactional customer messaging. Messages are sent only with the consent required for the applicable messaging program. Providing a phone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages, and SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We do not transfer SMS consent for unrelated messaging programs. These restrictions apply to all sharing described in this policy.

Information needed to provide the messaging program may be processed by service providers that help deliver and support messages, such as messaging platforms and telecommunications carriers. They may use it only to provide those services, not for their own marketing.

Message frequency varies based on your appointments, service requests, and interactions with the business. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages from the sending number. You may receive a final confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or contact admin@dialhand.com. You can also contact the business providing your service for assistance.

5. Other disclosures and service providers

We use providers for hosting, data storage, authentication, email, telecommunications, and related service operations. Information is disclosed as needed to operate DialHand on our behalf. Authorized users of the business managing a customer record can access information associated with that business.

We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of the service. If DialHand is involved in a merger or transfer of its business, information may transfer subject to this policy and the restrictions on SMS opt-in data and consent described above.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Consent and suppression records may be retained to document permission and honor opt-outs. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

7. Your choices and requests

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting admin@dialhand.com. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the business that manages your records. Requests are subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. You can manage SMS participation at any time by replying STOP to the sending number.

DialHand uses cookies needed for authentication and session management. Browser settings can restrict cookies, though this may prevent account features from working. DialHand is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date, and we will provide additional notice where required. For privacy or messaging questions, email admin@dialhand.com. See our Terms of Service for service and messaging terms.
